The following are opportunities and programs designed to help provide savings for real estate taxpayers. Other community resources and supports are listed HERE, towards the bottom of this page. 

DISCOUNT PERIOD

Save 2% off Face Amount
on Real Estate Tax Bill

Once the real estate tax bills are issued,

there is an opportunity to save 2% off your

bill when you pay within the first two months.

For County and Township Real Estate tax bills, this discount deadline is:

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30TH

After June 30th, a 10% Penalty is added.

For School District Real Estate tax bills, the discount deadline is:

FRIDAY, AUGUST 29TH

After October 31st, a 10% Penalty is added.

           HELPFUL TIP:     Use THIS SAVINGS CALCULATOR from Bank of                   America to create a savings plan to pay your bill on time and          during the discount period. Some people will even open a savings       account for this purpose.

SENIOR DISCOUNT

Senior Citizen Homeowners
in Warminster Township

Warminster Township provides a $55 trash discount on the County and Township bill for Senior Citizen Homeowners who are a minimum of 62 years of age (in year 2025).

  • Please present your driver's license as proof of age and residence.

  • All refunds must be requested prior to December 31st of the current year. ​

  • Condo and other residents who do not pay their trash bills to the Township and are not eligible for this discount. ​

HOMESTEAD/FARMSTEAD EXCLUSION

Bucks County
Board of Assessment

55 E. Court Street

    The Homestead/Farmstead Exclusion helps provide school property tax relief.        Applications and instructions for this program are available HERE on the Bucks      County Board of Assessment website.

Applications must be filled out on or before March 1st.

  • Eligibility includes if your property is your primary residence. If you own multiple properties, it will only apply to your primary residence.

​

  • If you receive this form from the Board of Assessment, fill it out and send back to them for approval. More information is available on their website HERE.

PROPERTY TAX/RENT REBATE

Pennsylvania
PA-1000 Program

Homeowners and renters may be eligible for a rebate on property taxes. ​​​

Eligibility includes an annual income level

of $46,520 or less (half Social Security), and adults who are 65 years or older, widows and widowers 50 years or older, or adults with disabilities 18 years or older.
